In-house laboratory
Our fully equipped laboratory in Makeni checks production against the ZABS, SANS or ISO standard each pipe is sold under.
Virgin raw material
HDPE pipe and fittings are made from 100% virgin PE compound, never regrind, so pressure ratings hold for the life of the pipe.
50-year design life
Long-term strength is established by regression analysis to ISO 9080, giving PE 100 pipe a minimum design life of fifty years.
Safety factors built in
PVC-U walls are sized at 10–12.5 MPa design stress (safety factor 2.0–2.5); mPVC at 18 MPa (1.4); HDPE with a 1.25 design coefficient.
